'Premium' Grant Funding
Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding that the government gives to schools for each pupil considered to be ‘disadvantaged’. This is usually a child who has been eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the last 6 years. We use our PP grant to provide targeted academic support for children. This is one of the 'best practice' approaches recommended by the Education Endowment Fund, to support all children in reaching their academic and emotional potential.
