School Uniform

Our uniform consists of navy sweatshirts or cardigans and white or pale blue T-shirts or Polo shirts. These may be embroidered with the school logo or plain.  We ask that these are worn with black, navy or grey trousers, skirts or pinafore dresses.  Items with the logo can be bought from Tesco online, Rawcliffes or Natasha's in Dewsbury or the Uniform Shop in Batley. Plain items can be bought from all the main supermarkets or other shops. Shoes should be plain black and sturdy. High heels or open toe styles should not be worn as these are a safety hazard. Black trainers are fine.

We do not expect the children to change into indoor footwear unless the weather is particularly bad.

School PE Kit

Children in Years One and Two may wear their PE kit all day, when they are being taught PE. This kit comprises of a plain white t shirt and black shorts, leggings or joggers. Sometimes games/PE lessons are held outside therefore your child may wear trainers that day. Coming to school in kit means children don't lose time getting changed and so have a longer session being active. In the Autumn Term 2021 the following days are when children should wear their PE kits:

Mondays- South Class Year Ones, Wednesdays- East Class Year Ones and Twos, Thursday- West Class Year Twos

Children in Reception are active through their outdoor learning provision, so they will not need a PE kit until the Summer Term 2022.

We would be very grateful if you could make sure all items of clothing are named, as this will make it easier to find your child's jumper/cardigan/coat/wellies if they get lost!
