Maths
Our Maths Curriculum is based around the White Rose materials which ensures a 'Mastery approach' to teaching. In Reception Maths group sessions and activities are taught daily. The children also have access to Maths challenges in provision which are changed frequently to reflect what has been taught in adult led sessions.
Reception
Each unit is broken down into smaller steps with regular checkpoints to assess what the children have learnt and understood.
Year 1
The year 1 and 2 curriculum is split into units each with an end of unit assessment. In Key stage 1 Maths is taught daily, where children will complete a mix of practical 'hands on' Maths activities and also work in their White Rose Maths Workbook.
